Torsion springs are used by torqueing or twisting the coils over a central axis to exert or store energy. Torsion springs are often made with tails on each end that can be formed to meet customers’ specifications. They generally have a specific relationship or angular position to meet load requirements. Torsion Springs reduce in diameter and grow in their body length when they are used. A lot of them have a shaft that runs through the coil body. It is important for us to know the shaft size if it applies.
